
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) continues its investments in ensuring that technology in the defense and aerospace industries is indigenous and national. A new milestone has been added to the strides made in Turkey’s defense, aerospace, and space sectors. TUSAŞ and Hacettepe University have signed a cooperation agreement for the newly established Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineering department. According to the agreement, the top 15 students selected for the department will have the opportunity to intern at TUSAŞ.

Speaking about the technological investments under the collaboration with Hacettepe University, TUSAŞ General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil emphasized, "The ongoing technological developments, especially in defense and security, are inseparable from artificial intelligence. The investments we have made and will continue to make in this area are of great importance, first for our country, and then for our company. The sustainability of our projects, their complete formation with indigenous and national elements, will be enhanced with high-tech investments like artificial intelligence.
