TUSAŞ CONTINUES TO DEVELOP SOFTWARE FOR NATIONAL SATELLITES

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) continues its efforts in developing software that will control National Satellites. The satellite’s crucial components, including Satellite Management Software (Flight Software and Ground Software), have undergone design, development, and qualification processes for independent satellite software units for nearly 5 years and have been successfully completed.

TUSAŞ’s Space Systems Deputy General Directorate continues satellite software development activities to meet Turkey’s growing demand for satellite imagery in both civilian and military sectors using national and local capabilities. In this context, TUSAŞ Space Systems Software Engineering is developing Satellite Management Software by combining modern technologies with internationally recognized space standards (ESA ECSS, CCSDS) to ensure maximum reusability.

With its skilled human resources, proven processes, infrastructure, and tools, TUSAŞ Space Systems Software Engineering is rapidly advancing in the high-resolution Electro-Optical Göktürk Renewal Satellite System Development Project, leveraging its experience in developing reliable (critical) software.
