Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii (TUSAŞ) continues to play a vital role in reducing Turkey’s dependency on foreign defense technology. In line with this mission, TUSAŞ is offering a unique opportunity for students to witness and contribute directly to national defense projects through its SKY (Senin Kariyer Yolun) internship program. Applications for the program are open from August 5 to October 13, 2019.
The program is open to students in their 3rd and 4th years of university in the following engineering fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical-Electronics/Communication Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aircraft Engineering, Space Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering.
Interns will work on Turkey’s groundbreaking national projects, including the National Combat Aircraft (MMU), over an 8-month period. The program offers a chance for students to gain practical experience while contributing to the nation’s defense capabilities. Interns will work at least one day a week at TUSAŞ and will be compensated, with transportation costs also covered by the company.
The SKY program not only provides hands-on exposure to national projects but also allows students to strengthen their theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Interns will first undergo an orientation before beginning their internships in departments suited to their fields of study.
Applications can be submitted via the official website: www.seninkariyeryolun.com.
