TUSAŞ Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Polish Firms WCBKT, WZL1, ITWL, and MESKO

On September 1, 2015, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between TUSAŞ – Turkish Aerospace Industries, and the Polish firms WCBKT, WZL1, ITWL, and MESKO during the MSPO Fair in Kielce, Poland. This MoU aims to establish cooperation under the Polish Air Force's "Attack Helicopter Procurement Program (KRUK)".

The signing ceremony, held at the TUSAŞ booth, was attended by H.E. Yusuf Ziya Özcan, the Ambassador of Turkey to Poland, Celal Sami Tüfekçi, Deputy Undersecretary of the Defense Industry Presidency (SSM), as well as senior officials, defense and aerospace industry representatives, and members of the press from both Poland and Turkey.

As part of the T129 ATAK Helicopter promotion tour in Poland, the helicopter made its first appearance in Polish skies at the Radom Aviation Fair on August 22-23, 2015. Subsequently, on August 28, 2015, a special flight demonstration was performed at Warsaw-Babice Airport for Polish officials and the media.

At the MSPO Fair from September 1-4, 2015, the T129 ATAK Helicopter was displayed at the static exhibit area, where visitors had the opportunity to closely examine the aircraft at the TUSAŞ booth.
