HÜRJET SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES ITS 100TH FLIGHT

Türkiye’s first indigenous advanced jet trainer aircraft, HÜRJET, successfully completed its 100th flight. During the flight, HÜRJET reached an altitude of 30,000 feet and a speed of Mach 0.8. which its maiden flight on April 25, 2024.The test flight took for 1 hour and 37 minutes. At the end of the test flight, a brief demonstration flight was performed to commemorate the 100th flight.

The HÜRJET Project was initiated to be included in the Turkish Air Force inventory, replacing the T-38 aircraft used for jet transition training and the F-5 aircraft used in aerobatic displays. HÜRJET is planned to replace jet trainer aircraft with over 20 years of service and is also intended to serve as a jet trainer aircraft that meets the requirements of rapidly increasing 5th generation aircraft and their updated configurations.

The Advanced Jet Trainer HÜRJET, which is single-engine, tandem-seated, and equipped with a modern avionics suite, continues to play a critical role with its superior performance features as design, production, assembly, and flight tests are being carried out at our company.
