With the T129 ATAK and the T625 GÖKBEY Helicopter Programs, Turkish Aerospace has become a prominent brand in the field of indigenous and national technologies. Now, the company combines its advanced operational performance and exceptional technology development capabilities in a new utility helicopter, poised to become the leader in its class.
To build upon the success achieved with the T625 GÖKBEY Helicopter and further increase its capacity, Turkish Aerospace has initiated the development of the T925 Heavy Utility Helicopter using national resources. Following the completion of the design phase, progress has continued on the T925 helicopter.
The T925 Heavy Utility Helicopter stands out with its high useful payload capacity and superior performance in hot-and-high conditions. Equipped with state-of-the-art mission systems, the T925 is being developed as a general utility helicopter to be used in firefighting operations, with its maiden flight scheduled for the end of 2026.
Developed entirely with national means and capabilities, and free from any export license restrictions, the T925 Helicopter boasts a 4-ton water-carrying capacity. The T925 will offer users an endurance of approximately 3 hours. It will have a maximum cruise speed of 175 knots and will be capable of operating at an altitude of 20,000 feet.
Following the completion of the prototype, the T925 is planned to begin serving the General Directorate of Forestry starting from 2028, contributing to the protection of our green homeland.
