LANDING GEAR DROP TESTS

The landing gear drop infrastructure is a special system with a drop weight and wide height range that can be adjusted up to 7 tons to test the impact behavior of different landing gear types. The drop platform is equipped with 3 axis load cells.

Computer-controlled data acquisition system and realistic landing scenarios can be tested with adaptive instrumentation support, such as accelerometer, displacement sensor, as well as automatic tire rotation device.
